Chairman - Ian Lancaster
I joined Frodsham Players at the end of 2014 after a 20-year gap from amateur theatre, having started out with Wigan Little Theatre, Newtown Players and Hindley & Wigan Amateur Operatic Society. When I returned to the players, it was very much like coming home – everyone was so welcoming & friendly.
Having shown something of an aptitude for social media & marketing, I was asked to join the committee in 2015.
My first production was Macbeth, followed by Ayckbourn’s “Seasons Greetings” and then “The Secret Garden.” I was delighted to take over as Chairman in 2016 and hope to build on the excellent work of my predecessor, Derinda Watson. My aim is for Frodsham Players to perform top quality productions and to increase our membership year on year.

Vice Chairman – Carrie Bennett-Brown
I am thoroughly enjoying my role as social secretary. It’s great fun meeting up with fellow members of the players outside of the usual rehearsal time. Where possible we try to support the other local amateur dramatics groups. We also enjoy weekly visits to the pub after rehearsals.
