Originally from Chester, Simon has been idling unprofessionally backstage for well over a decade, ever since failing to audition successfully for the role of ‘Tree’ in his school nativity.
Simon's first brush with theatre lighting was while on work experience in a local hospital, which while great for the Medics' Revue, did rather slow down the operations somewhat. In 2010 he went up to Oxford, where he had an excellent day. Outside of theatre he can be found terrifying the public by flying them around in airliners and, less often, even landing them as well.
