Sam joined Stagecoach in Northwich when he was eight and went on to play Scar in The Lion King and P.T Barnum in The Greatest Showman. At High School, aged fifteen, he played Danny Zuko in Grease. This year, aged seventeen, he moved into adult theatre playing David and Thomas in The Rivals with Frodsham Players and Diarmaid in The Ferryman with the Harlequins at the Harlequin Theatre in Northwich.
